Next up on the label is Bawn Tubble's Toxic Breakfast EP and this release comes served in three courses. Now this is something different for the label with the original mix being techno based with hints of tech house as the track builds and builds into a frenzy of atmospherics. Big drops and a massive big room sound with tribal undertones to carry the track to its destination.
The second course is delivered by Ideal Flow with his deep and dubby interpretation that stretches well into the realms of darkness and the man has added his own brand of spice to the track that gives it an immense depth.
The third and final course is served up by Mars Bill & Dr.Hoffmann and this track will be favourite of those who love the up tempo sound, with real punch and deliverance this set destroyer has a drive and personality all of its own. Luke Gardiner aka Bawn Trubble has been passionately into music from an early age, and after borrowing The Prodigy's album "Experience" and hearing the tune "Jericho" at the age of eight years old, he had well and truly caught the bug.
He bought his first set of Technics 2-2 Beltdrive Turntables and a Maplin Mixer on his 11th birthday and set off into the wide world of DJ-ing, at the time mostly influenced by Gabba and Hard Techno, and listening to the sounds of Scorpio and Producer. attending nightclubs such as The Orbit in Leeds * Turnmills London only took his passion for techno to a new level.
Bawn Trubble spent most of his early musical life on the underground scene playing mostly parties and "illegal" raves, played many gigs in and around Preston, including another residency at Fives.. Upon realising the dance music scene was lacking in Preston at the time, he began to hire small venues for his own elitist parties based around techno and drum and bass. Whilst Travelling through europe and onto Tenerife he was offer a residency sound of miniztry in Playa de las Americas, which he did for 2 years. After that, he went back to Blanes near Girona in Spain, where he got to play at the world famous Arena club alongside europes finest and also played at many no-licence raves on local beaches, farms and woodland areas for the locals. He returned to the UK at the end of the 2008 season and quickly became a well respected resident at Fridays @ Lava, at Lava Ignite in Preston playing funky tech-house.
Bawn also hosted a very popular techno radio show on Fm.fm,a global internet radio station, with a following from all over the world until its closure. Bt has guest starred on Dr Hoffmans Blindspot Podcast,Gobsmacked Records Podcast,Cuebase.fm,Mac Trax Radio International Sundays, The Wave Fm Argentina and Mastermix Italia, alongside some of the world’s finest DJ’s including Bas Mooy,Dj Hi-shock, Dj Warp, Paul Oakenfold,Adam Beyer,Josh Wink and David Morales, Andrew Weatherall and many more. Fm.fm also went ‘on tour’ all over North Uk, where Bawn was been resident throughout, at a variety of different venues.He now promotes and is resident @ CONDEMNED (MANC)... His very first track ‘Powersurge’ was quickly signed to the rising Method Label, with the second E.p. ‘Toxic Breakfast’ now available via Blind Spot Music. As 2012 opens its gates many projects are underway for Mr. Trubble as he partners up with Mark Rampage to release a string of ep's in the coming months.
